ITINERARY
Day 1: Arrival in Lagos 🇳🇬 – hotel check-in, optional quick tour (Makoko, Nike Art Gallery, Conservation Center, National Museum).
Day 2: Abeokuta Presidential Library, King’s Palace, local market, overnight Lagos.
Day 3: Lagos → Badagry → Benin 🇧🇯 – slave museum, first church, slave market, border crossing. Overnight Cotonou/Ouidah.
Day 4: Ganvie stilt village (Venice of Africa), Abomey Royal Palace, Bohicon underground village, chameleon temple, voodoo ritual at Lake Aheme.
Day 5: Ouidah – sacred forest, Cathedral, Temple of Pythons, slave sites (Tree of Forgetfulness, Gate of No Return). Overnight in Ouidah.
Day 6: Cross into Togo 🇹🇬 – Agbodrafo slave house, Togoville (boat ride), Lomé landmarks: Independence Square, artisans’ village, fetish market, fishing harbor, Grand Marché. Overnight Lomé.
Day 7: Drive to Ghana 🇬🇭 – border crossing, relaxation, overnight in Accra.
Day 8: Accra city tour – Kwame Nkrumah Park, Black Star Square, National Museum, Osu Castle, Jamestown.
