Ucomeafrik has been set up by person having passion for travelling and for travellers and our aim is to help adventurous souls get to incredible places that would otherwise remain inaccessible. Our office is manned by good, experienced, knowledgeable and passionate personels along with that of our experienced guides that is evident in all aspects of the trips, from planning through to implementation. In short, we run the kind of trips that we like to do! By engaging in personal guided trips and also keeping the group sizes small (maximum 15) we can allow for a greater degree of flexibility and cater to individual needs and this unobtrusive ‘low impact’ tourism gives travellers a chance to get off the beaten track without damaging the places they visit.
Using passionate and knowledgeable guides, as well as a dedicated and experienced office staff, we are able to provide unique and original itineraries that allow our clients to take a journey beneath the surface of the region, into those special and off the beaten tracks.
Upon booking we will send you a list containing information about the destination cum an equipment list, recommended clothing list and any items that might need.
There is no hard and fast guide, although some trips are popular and booked up quickly. To ensure a place, you can simply book and pay a deposit at any time, and then pay the balance a week prior to departure. Also, be sure to allow yourself enough time to obtain visas and vaccinations where necessary.
Genuine and Supportive
Traveling to Nigeria and Ghana requires visas (US passport) and they are not easy to get. I took this private 4-country tour with Confidence and he arranged everything for me. The moment I arrived at Lagos airport, VOA officer from Confidence’s contact helped me get the visa within 15 minutes, then I was taken to immigration and customs without waiting in line. Same great treatment entering Ghana by land.
The tour was packed with many stops, and it was not just the “slave trade history” from Badagry to Cape Coast that i learned so much about. I also visited the orphanage inside Makoko in Lagos, Ganvie, sacred forest, and python temple in Benin, Fetish Market in Togo… all in private vehicles with a driver and a multi-lingual fixes/guides.

Confidence is punctual, professional, knowledgeable, enthusiastic, funny, and surrounds himself with good people who will become your friends and will take care of you. I got very sick from bad food that I didn’t warm up and Confidence stayed by my side through most of the night and helped succor me back to health. His drivers and assistant guides are well-vetted.
